Charles Woodson is a former American football defensive back who played 18 seasons in the NFL. He played college football at the University of Michigan, where in 1997 he won the Heisman Trophy as a primarily defensive player, along with a national championship. He was selected 4th overall by the Oakland Raiders in the 1998 NFL Draft, playing for the Raiders from 1998-2005 and again from 2013-2015, and for the Green Bay Packers from 2006-2012. A Super Bowl XLV champion with the Packers, he was a 9-time Pro Bowl selection, 4-time First-team All-Pro, the 1998 NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year, the 2009 NFL Defensive Player of the Year, and is tied for 5th all-time with 65 career interceptions. He is a member of both the College Football Hall of Fame and the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
