Denzel Mims starred at Baylor (2016-2019) where he posted 2,925 receiving yards and 28 TDs and earned First-team All-Big 12 in 2019 before being drafted 59th overall in the 2nd round of the 2020 NFL Draft by the New York Jets. He flashed as a rookie with 23 catches for 357 yards, but finished his Jets tenure with 42 receptions for 676 yards in 30 games from 2020-2022. After practice squad / offseason stints with the Lions, Steelers and Jaguars in 2023-2024, he revived his career in the UFL with the St. Louis Battlehawks and Dallas Renegades and parlayed that into a return to the NFL with the Dallas Cowboys in 2026.
