Johnny Manziel was a star quarterback at Texas A&M from 2011-2013, where as a redshirt freshman in 2012 he became the first freshman ever to win the Heisman Trophy, known as "Johnny Football" for his improvisational, scramble-heavy play.

Drafted 22nd overall by the Cleveland Browns in the 2014 NFL Draft, his pro career was brief and turbulent — he played just 14 games over two seasons (2014-2015), throwing for 1,675 yards, 7 touchdowns and 7 interceptions, before being released in 2016.

After the NFL he had short stints in the CFL with Hamilton and Montreal in 2018, the AAF with the Memphis Express in 2019, and Fan Controlled Football in 2021-2022, but never returned to the NFL.
